Requirements

• Minimum 21 years old
• Pass Ryder drug test
• Pass Ryder background and motor vehicle checks, including drug/alcohol verification for the past 3 years
• Pass DOT physical
• Pass Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements
• Verifiable Class A experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months in the past 3 years, or
• 2 years in the last 5 years, or
• 5 years in the last 10 years

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to interpret laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and standards
• Detecting and minimizing safety hazards, maintaining accurate logs
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting as required
