Job summary

Qualifications

• Highschool or GED equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable three year MV report.
• Ability to drive manual transmissions.
• Must have a CDL Class B with air brake endorsements and tanker endorsements.
• Possess a medical card with an insurable driving record.
• Able to adhere to federal pre-employment and random drug testing requirements.
• Knowledge of CDL rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive 6-10 wheel trucks for hauling materials, plowing, and cindering.
• Operate loaders to load dumps trucks.
• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle checks.
• Maintain a logbook.
• Work weekdays, weekends, and some holidays; night shifts and adverse weather possible.
• Operate vehicles from small to heavy equipment and read applicable materials.

Purpose of the position:Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various types of trucks (6-10 wheels, tank vehicle).
