Job Summary

Drives diesel-powered tractor-trailer combination to transport finished poultry products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Drives truck to destination for delivery of product to customers.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections and reports any discrepancies in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
• Maintains driver logs according to DOT hours of service regulations.
• Assists with unloading trailers when required, including breaking down pallets and separating products.
• NYC trips may be required. Drivers may need to lay over in the truck between trips.
• Drivers are required to wear company-provided uniforms.

Required Qualifications

• No major violations in the previous 3 years on the MVR report.
• Minimum 2 years CDL Class A driving experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; or up to one-year related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to speak English and read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and manuals. Must understand DOT regulations.
• No DUI convictions in the last 5 years.
