Job summary

Penske Logistics is hiring for Full-time Apprentice Class A CDL Truck Drivers in Washington (Lacey). Local, home daily work with a 5-day week and overtime after 40 hours. Salary listed at $30.50 per hour with comprehensive benefits and the chance to join a nationwide, safety-focused team.

Qualifications include Penske-approved CDL training or U.S. Armed Forces service, valid Class A CDL, DOT medical card, and a clean DMV/MVR record. Company offers excellent benefits and a driver-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Must be a Penske approved CDL School graduate (CDL 160, Ivy Tech, Truck Drivers Institute, New England Tractor Trailer Training School), or a current or former member of the US Armed Forces
• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.

Schedule

• 5-day work week (weekends required)
• 2 consecutive days off each weekDispatch window between 11:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• Average 55-hour work week
