The King County Parks Heavy Equipment Crew plays a vital role in supporting the department's vision, mission, and goals by maintaining and enhancing park infrastructure. TheTruck Driver III with King County Parks plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the county's parks and recreational spaces. The primary function is to safely and efficiently transport materials, equipment, and supplies to support various maintenance and improvement projects. This includes operating heavy vehicles (dump trucks, flatbeds, and trailers) often in challenging conditions. Projects such as trail maintenance and expansion, park renovations, environmental stewardship, and habitat restoration provide a diverse range of meaningful, measurable, and positive community impact.
