Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America in Texas is seeking a Class A CDL driver to join our trucking team. You will deliver orders, work various shifts including weekends, and ensure accuracy in loading and paperwork.

Responsibilities include DOT compliance, pre-trip and post-trip inspections, logging, and reporting equipment issues, all while maintaining a strong safety record and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Class A Commercial Driver's License and 2+ years of Tractor/Trailer driving experience.
• Must be at least 21 yrs. of age.
• Dependable and safety conscious.
• Consistent on-time performance and strong customer service skills.
• Excellent driving record.
• EOBR knowledge preferred.

Hourly rate: $19.15/hour.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Work involves all shifts including weekends in company trucks, delivering orders to our customers and checking them for accuracy.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Salary: $19.15/hr.
• Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision - and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
• Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions.
