Job summary

Tri-City Extrusion, Inc. is seeking a Truck Driver Class A CDL to operate diesel-powered tractor trailers on regional and long-haul routes from Bristol, TN. The role includes flatbed/Conestoga trailer work with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance with DOT regulations.

Applicants should have 1+ years of truck driving experience, including flatbed, and be able to pass a DOT drug test with valid CDL and DOT Medical Card. Home time varies; pay is weekly with a competitive per-mile rate.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL and DOT Medical Card required.
• OTR and team driving experience preferred.
• 1+ years truck driving experience required; flatbed experience a plus.
• Experience with Conestoga trailers preferred.
• Must pass DOT drug test and maintain ELD in compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate diesel-powered tractor-trailer on regional and long-haul routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Assist loading/unloading as needed.
• Maintain safe driving practices and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Keep accurate electronic logs (ELD) and paperwork.

Truck Driver Class A CDL

Tri-City Extrusion, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of Aluminum Extrusions for Commercial and Industrial Markets.

We have an immediate opening for a full time Truck Drivers to drive diesel powered tractor trailer combination, to transport aluminum products using flatbed and Conestoga trailers on regional and long-haul routes.

Qualifications/Experience:

Experience operating a diesel-powered tractor trailer required

Must be able to run over the road (OTR) and team driving routes

Experienced in performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck and flatbed

Must be able to maintain Electronic Log (ELD) in compliance with DOT regulations

Valid CDL and DOT Medical Card required.

Must pass DOT drug test.

May assist workers in loading and unloading truck.

1+ years truck driving experience required

1+ years flatbed experience required

Experience with Conestoga trailers preferred

Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission tractors

Strong focus on safety and reliability

Schedule/Home Time:

OTR over the road and team driving position

Routes typically 500-750 miles and beyond

Home time varies based on routes and business needs

Not a home daily position

Pay and Benefits:

Weekly pay - base plus mileage driven

Avg pay range - $70,000 -$90,000 per year
