Job summary

Ferrellgas in Standish, MI is seeking a dependable CDL Driver to deliver propane to homes, farms, and businesses. You’ll be the face of Ferrellgas, upholding safety and service while following DOT and company standards.

You’ll work local routes, be home each night, and participate in on-call rotations for after-hours deliveries. The role requires a Class A/B CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements or ability to obtain them; strong driving record and physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

Qualifications

• Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsement, or ability to obtain quickly.
• Demonstrates safe driving habits and professional customer service.
• Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, or have authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Lead with teamwork, professionalism, and integrity every day.
• Provide friendly, professional service as the face of Ferrellgas in your community.
• Operate propane trucks and equipment following all DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs.
• Support customers with questions about deliveries, accounts, and propane safety.
• Take part in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend emergency deliveries.

• Previous truck driving experience preferred


• Class A or B CDL, HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsement, or be able to obtain quickly


• High school diploma or equivalent


• Good driving record


• Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions


• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
