Job summary

Eagle Eye Electric, LLC is seeking a Truck Driver for a St. Louis, MO on-site role. Responsibilities include operating tandem and single axle dump trucks or water trucks in residential settings, performing laborer duties when required, and maintaining safety on site.

You will liaise with project staff and interact professionally with property owners. CDL and MEC required, pre-employment screening is mandatory.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of demonstratable experience on residential lead remediation projects for USEPA or USACE.
  • 2+ years of demonstratable experience working on Hazardous Waste Sites USEPA or USACE.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results.
  • Must obtain and maintain appropriate clearance levels for applicable contracts.
  • Must have a valid CDL and Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).

Responsibilities

  • Drive tandem and single axle dump trucks or water trucks in residential settings.
  • Perform duties of a Laborer when needed.
  • Maintain a safe work area and drive defensively.
  • Communicate with Project Support staff (QCM, SSHO, Superintendent, Site Coordinator).

  • Experience operating water-trucks for watering residential properties after the installation of sod.
  • Ability to complete and file paperwork in an organized and legible form.

DOT Covered/Safety-Sensitive Role Requirements

  • This position does perform DOT “safety-sensitive” functions (as defined under 49 CFR Part 40) and is subject to all federal requirements related to Department of Transportation requirements for those performing, or on-call to perform, “safety-sensitive” functions.Employees must provide a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).
  • The use of personal protective equipment is required – hardhat, safety glasses, safety shoes, safety vests, respirators, hearing protection, chemical protective equipment, etc.A truck-driver needs to be able to manual clean their truck beds.As a water-driver needs to be able to pull hoses to water lawns.

Additional Qualifying Factors

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain and maintain the appropriate clearance levels required and must also be able to obtain access to military installations.
