Job summary

Eagle Eye Electric, LLC is seeking an experienced Civil Superintendent to lead levee restoration projects in Papillion, NE. You will oversee field teams, ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and maintain essential project records.

Requirements include 10+ years on levee/restoration projects for USACE, 5+ years as SSHO, OSHA and EM385 certifications, and strong coordination with corporate staff and subcontractors. Expect extensive outdoor work and occasional weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 10+ years of levee or bank restoration project experience on USACE projects.
• 5+ years as SSHO (or alternate) on USACE projects.
• OSHA 30-hour Construction/General Industry Safety Course completed or in progress.
• EM385 1-1 40-hour Certification (can be ongoing).
• 10-hour OSHA Construction Safety Course completed.
• Current First Aid/ CPR training.
• Experience reading/interpreting implementing specs (contracts, ASTMs).
• College-level coursework in construction management or civil/environmental engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform site leadership and coordinate field operations on levee restoration sites.
• Review procedures and train team members onsite to ensure safety and quality.
• Prepare and submit daily reports and project documentation for Government approval.
• Ensure regulatory compliance at the jobsite and maintain project records.
• Supervise field staff and liaise with project management and subcontractors.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Skills and willingness to perform duties on a levee restoration site.
• Conduct a variety of work-related inspections / tasks (Daily Work Audits, Daily Production Mtg)
• Review work procedures and processes with team members onsite
• Conduct a variety of quality related inspections / tasks (Initial & Follow-up Inspections)
• Review quality procedures and processes with team members onsite (Preparatory Meetings)
• Prepare Contractor Daily Reports
• Maintain the project records.
• Attend meetings as required.
• Prepare - writing/reviewing/submitting - documents for Government approval.
• Ensure regulatory compliance at the jobsite level
• Perform Site Orientation training for staff.
• Maintain a safe work area.
• Manage field support staff
• Communicate and work with the Administrative Support staff - Project Manager, Construction Manager, Cost Accountant.
• Communicate and professionally represent the Employer with property owners and the public.

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications

• Education Requirements: High School or GED
• Level of Experience Requirements: 10+ years of demonstratable experience on levee or bank restoration projects for USACE.
• 5+ years of demonstratable experience as a SSHO (or alternate) on USACE projects.
• Has completed the 30-hour OSHA Construction/General Industry Safety Course.
• EM385 1-1 40-hour Certification (can be ongoing)
• Has completed a 10-hour OSHA Construction Safety Course.
• Has current First Aid/ CPR training.
• Demonstratable experience in reading, interpretating, implementing specifications (contract, ASTMs, etc).
• Has completed college level course work in construction management or civil/environmental engineering.

• Possess a valid driver license and clean driving record.
• Computer skills/software - Microsoft Office, Scheduling Software, CAD Software
• Ability to complete and file paperwork in an organized and legible form.

The work schedule will require more than 8 hours per shift, nominally working Monday through Friday, work on weekends will be occasionally required.
