Drive Salvation Army box truck along scheduled routes to pick up donations and deliver merchandise. Operate the truck in compliance with Salvation Army standards and state regulations. Load and unload donations such as furniture, appliances, and clothing. Ensure safety and security of the vehicle and donations. Assist in thrift store and warehouse work.
Daily driving outdoors, exposure to weather conditions such as rain, cold, snow, heat, as well as noise, dust, and dirt.
Shifts vary Monday through Saturday, mostly 5.5 hours, with one shift from open to close. Benefits include paid vacation, pension after 12 months, sick and personal time after 90 days, voluntary insurance options, and employee discounts.
