Job summary

SBS Acquisition Company LLC in Santa Barbara, CA is seeking a Truck Driver to deliver smoked salmon and other products to customers in Los Angeles and surrounding areas, and to perform scheduled pickups from LAX.

You will operate a 26ft box truck, maintain cold chain integrity, and ensure accurate delivery documentation while adhering to DOT regulations and safety guidelines. Experience with perishable goods is preferred.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record with delivery experience.
• Familiarity with Southern California roadways, especially LA and LAX.
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail in delivery documentation.
• Experience handling perishable or temperature-controlled goods preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety guidelines.

About this position

Description:

Operate a 26ft box truck to deliver smoked salmon and other products from our Santa Barbara facility to customers in Los Angeles and surrounding areas Perform scheduled pickups from LAX

• Handle product with care to maintain cold chain and food safety standards
• Load and unload cargo using electric pallet jacks, or by hand as needed
• Verify delivery paperwork, obtain signatures, and ensure accurate record-keeping
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
• Follow all DOT regulations, food safety guidelines, and company procedures
• Maintain professional and courteous communication with the sales team and dispatch team

Requirements

• Valid California driver’s license (CDL not required)
• Clean driving record with at least 1 year of delivery experience
• Familiarity with Southern California roadways, especially the downtown LA metro area and LAX
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs
• Strong attention to detail, especially with delivery documentation and time-sensitive routes
• Experience handling perishable or temperature-controlled goods preferred
