Commercial Tire Inc in Salt Lake City is hiring a Truck Driver for local, drop-and-hook runs between Utah stores. This full-time position offers an hourly rate of $40.00 and a strong benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, ESOP and a 401(k).

You will be home every night with Mondays–Thursdays work and Fridays through Sundays off. A brand-new truck is arriving in November and there are no overnights.

Formación

• Valid Class A CDL and a clean driving record.
• 1+ year of commercial driving experience, or a graduate of a CDL school.
• Current DOT medical card.

Responsabilidades

• Drop-and-hook runs between Commercial Tire locations in the Salt Lake area, with one longer regional run each week.
• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections, keeping your truck in good shape.
• Secure loads and handle tire casings.
• Stay in touch with dispatch and our store teams.

What you will Need - required

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL FUNCTIONS

Physical Demands:

• Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, twisting, and walking on uneven surfaces
• Frequent lifting/carrying: up to 50 lbs
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for grasping and dexterity
• Exposure to noise, dirt, dust, mechanical vibration, fumes, and outdoor conditions
• Occasional hazards due to mechanical equipment and moving objects
