Job summary

Ferrellgas is hiring a dependable, safety-minded CDL Driver to deliver propane to homes, farms, and businesses. Our drivers work local routes and are home every night, reflecting a strong commitment to customer service and safety.

Starting pay is $27.00 per hour, with comprehensive health coverage and a suite of benefits. Applicants should have a Class A or B CDL, Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or the ability to obtain them quickly. A good driving record and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Candidates should have a good driving record and be able to pass a DOT safety review.
• CDL with HAZMAT/Tanker endorsements preferred or ability to obtain quickly.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Operate propane trucks and equipment following all DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs.
• Support customers with questions about deliveries and propane safety.
• Take part in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional service as the face of Ferrellgas in your community.
• Operate propane trucks and equipment following all DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs.
• Support customers with questions about deliveries, accounts, and propane safety.
• Take part in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend emergency deliveries.

Qualifications

• Previous truck driving experience preferred
• Class A or B CDL, HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsement, or be able to obtain quickly
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good driving record
• Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
• Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
