Job summary

Burdick Materials, a CRH Company, is seeking an experienced CDL Class A delivery driver to safely operate transfer and dump trucks and deliver aggregates to residential and commercial sites in Utah. The role emphasizes customer-centric service and adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities include operating end or belly dumps, maintaining time and material records, and communicating effectively via radio.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess a valid CDL Class A with double/triple and air brake endorsements.
• Must possess a valid Medical Card as per DOT standard.
• Incident free driving record preferred.
• May be subject drug, alcohol, and physical agility testing.

Position Overview

This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of transfer trucks and or dump trucks (with and without pups (trailers) and tarping systems). Drivers will deliver all types of aggregates, including asphalt, and other materials to locations both residential and commercial. This position requires Customer Centric Service, along with good understanding of CRH safety policies to keep our employees, customers, and the traveling public safe at all times. This positions priority will be customer delivery but will also involve internal needs that include asphalt paving.

Physical Requirements

The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move anywhere up to 50lbs.
