Job Description

Location: Omaha, NE - Hiring immediately

Pay: Starting pay up to $95K depending on experience and job type (see pay options).

Schedule Available: Traditional (typically dispatched 5.5 days per trip), full-time, part-time

Job Types: Customer Delivery Specialist, No-Touch Freight (Learn more)

Environment: Work in all weather conditions, including weekdays, weekends, days, and nights

(DTI) Class A CDL driver, you can receive the respect you deserve while living your dream. You'll pick up products from Dot Foods suppliers and transport them to our customers and distribution centers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Safely and efficiently operate DTI equipment to transport products
  • Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements set by the Department of Transportation, FMCSA, and other governing bodies
  • Load and unload dry and temperature-controlled goods (except no-touch freight)
  • Manage MPG, fuel purchases, idle time, and speed to meet company goals
  • Read and understand load paperwork, product, and packaging descriptions
  • Identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position

ROLE SPECIFICS

  • Regular physical activity required; must be able to safely lift on average 14 pounds, up to 60 pounds at most
  • Sitting, walking, or standing during work hours

Job Requirements

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Class A CDL and a good motor vehicle report, or ability to obtain one (we help cover driving school tuition for new drivers)
  • Haz-Mat and tanker endorsements (can be obtained during training)
  • Medical examiner certificate from an approved examiner
  • Ability to pass our physical ability test (PAT)
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English
  • Safety-first mindset

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

  • Six months of over-the-road experience or graduation from an approved truck driver training school
  • High school diploma or GED
