Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily inspections at the start and end of shift and report problems or damage.

  • Manage routes and proceed the most efficient way possible
  • Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business
  • Comply with all DOT and in house rules and regulations
  • Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador with clients and the public

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Valid CDL
  • Clean driving record
  • Be safety conscious, have a positive attitude
  • Have and maintain an excellent attendance record
  • Pre-employment physical and pass a DOT drug screen
  • Wear personal protective equipment at the loading and unloading points
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
  • Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CDL – Class A
  • Certificate from an accredited CDL school
  • 21 years or older
  • At least six months of OTR experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to drive for extended periods of time
  • Ability to climb up to the bin and onto the truck trailer
