Optimized Process Designs, LLC (OPD) is hiring a Truck Driver for our Mt. Belvieu, TX jobsite.

The role involves operating water trucks, hauling and trailer towing, and performing routine maintenance while following safety protocols on a petrochemical construction site. Candidates must hold a valid CDL, have 6+ months of commercial-driving experience, be willing to travel, pass a drug test and background check, and work 12-hour shifts in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
• At least 6 months of experience driving a dump truck, cement truck, or other commercial vehicle.
• Willing to travel with extended periods away from home in remote areas.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Able to work in extreme heat, humidity, and cold conditions.
• Attend mandatory safety meetings.
• Team player and able to work in a team environment.
• Shifts up to 12 hours per day and 7 days per week.
• Meet basic physical requirements.

What You Will Do

Some core responsibilities for a Truck Driver include:

• Maintenance and repair of machinery as requested or required.
• Driving water truck to dry areas of jobsite
• Drive truck and pull a trailer
• Follow signal directions while safely operating equipment

• Follow OPD and client safety policies and procedures
• Be aware of changing conditions on an active jobsite
• Be on time to the jobsite each day ready for work
• Display a positive attitude and be able to work in a team environment
• Some physical demands of being a Truck Driver include:
• Capable of working in outdoor weather and environmental conditions including extreme heat and humidity, extreme cold, and high elevations.
• Lifting and carrying awkward objects up to 60 lbs
• Standing for extended periods of time up to 12 hours per day.
• Moving the entire body. Considerable use of arms, legs, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, crawling, twisting, reaching, and bending on a regular basis.
• Must have good hand-eye coordination
• Use hands to handle, control, and feel objects and/or tools.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License
• At least 6 months of experience driving a dump truck, cement truck, or other commercial vehicle

• 3+ years of relevant work experience
