- Ideal Chemical is looking for dedicated CDL Drivers with Hazardous Materials and Tanker Endorsements, a minimum of 2 years of experience and knowledge of the regional area. Home most nights and Weekends.

- The Drivers work directly with the Fleet Supervisor and Operations Managers. This position is responsible for successfully and efficiently delivering freight to customers throughout the region and picking up empties. Drivers work as a part of our Operations Department in a warehouse and distribution environment.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Valid Class A license with HazMat and Tanker Endorsements
- Up to date DOT Medical Card
- Clean MVR
- Ability to drive a manual transmission
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and shipping papers
- Ability to write reports as necessary
- Ability to do simple math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and percentage)
- 2 Years’ hazardous materials driving experience.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Able to drive long distances and be out overnight occasionally to deliver orders to
- Load and unload cargo
- Placard and secure load
- Refuel and clean vehicles
- Follow traffic laws and DOT regulations
- Keep electronic logs
- Inspect truck and trailers before and after each shift
- Complete paperwork on deliveries
- Operate a pallet jack
- Follow accident procedures
- Report road incidents to Fleet Supervisor
- Maintain phone contact with Fleet Supervisor
Physical Demands:
- Employee will be required to regularly sit and talk or hear.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands, and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, smell, sit, talk and hear.
- Able to lift 75 pounds, pull a pallet jack or drum dolly
