APTIM is seeking a CDL Truck Driver to support soil excavation activities, loading trucks and transporting soil for stockpile and disposal, then backfill for site restoration and revegetation. • Must live within daily commute of Jackson, CA.
• No Felonies.
• Clean driving record with valid license.
• Dependable transportation and cell phone.

• OSHA HAZWOPER Preferred.
• CDL.
• Tank endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Load and transport soil using dump trucks (12-15 yd) and water trucks.
• Operate trucks safely in residential communities.
• Assist in general labor tasks as needed.
• Work as part of a team in a safe, productive manner.
• Maintain professional conduct while working in residential areas.

Job description

Job Overview:

Under direction of Construction Manager, provide support to soil excavation activities including loading trucks and transport soil for stockpile/disposal, then transport backfill for site restoration and revegetation. May be required to assist in general labor duties. Truck Drivers will be paid federal prevailing wage for work performed.

Project Description: Residential remedial excavation and backfill of 40 properties, metals contaminated soils.

The base company wage for the CDL Truck Driver position is $35.00 per hour. However, for this project, the CDL Truck Driver position will be paid the Federal prevailing wage for work performed.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Use of Dump trucks (12-15 yd) and Water Trucks (2k)
• Operate trucks in safe manner in residential communities
• Will before labor tasks
• Ability to work in team environment in safe and productive manner
• Be safe and professional while working in residential communities

Basic Qualifications:

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range for this position is $35 per hour. Compensation depends on several factors including: experience, education, key skills, geographic location of the position, client requirements, external market competitiveness, and internal equity among other employees within APTIM.
