Sloan Implement Co is seeking an experienced Truck Driver in Assumption, IL to safely transport equipment between dealership locations and customer sites. The role requires a CDL and a strong driving record, with a focus on safety and timely deliveries.

The position entails loading/unloading heavy equipment, maintaining logs, and complying with DOT/OSHA rules. Flexible hours and occasional overnight travel are expected.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience operating a semi-trailer truck.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• Excellent driving record.
• Must maintain a good driving record in compliance with company Motor Vehicle Records criteria throughout employment.
• Must pass a DOT physical and renew certification annually as a condition of continued employment.
• Experience loading and unloading heavy equipment preferred.
• Ability to repeatedly lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including occasional overnight travel.

The hourly pay range for this position is $19 to $27. This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base hourly wage for this role. Based on factor such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
