Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a dependable, safety-minded CDL Driver to join our team in Hendersonville, NC. You will deliver propane to homes, farms, and businesses on local routes, with family-friendly home nights and competitive benefits.

You’ll operate propane trucks in compliance with DOT safety standards, perform daily inspections, and support customers with delivery questions while representing Ferrellgas in the community.

Qualifications

• Previous truck driving experience preferred.
• CDL Class A or B with HazMat and Tanker endorsements or ability to obtain quickly.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Lead with teamwork, professionalism, and integrity every day.
• Provide friendly, professional service as the face of Ferrellgas in your community.
• Operate propane trucks and equipment following all DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs.
• Support customers with questions about deliveries, accounts, and propane safety.
• Take part in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend emergency deliveries.

Qualifications

• Previous truck driving experience preferred
• Class A or B CDL, HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsement, or be able to obtain quickly
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good driving record
• Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
• Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
