Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a dependable CDL Driver to safely deliver propane to homes, farms, and businesses in the local Fort Myers area. You will represent Ferrellgas with professionalism and integrity on every delivery, maintaining logs and inspecting vehicles daily.

Ideal candidates have a CDL and a good driving record, are physically capable of lifting up to 60 pounds, and are eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship. Local routes mean you’ll be home each night.

Qualifications

• CDL driving experience preferred.
• Valid Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements (or ability to obtain)
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good driving record.
• Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions.
• Citizen or National of the United States or authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Lead with teamwork, professionalism, and integrity every day.
• Provide friendly, professional service as the face of Ferrellgas in your community.
• Operate propane trucks and equipment following all DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs.
• Support customers with questions about deliveries, accounts, and propane safety.
• Take part in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend emergency deliveries.

Qualifications

• Previous truck driving experience preferred
• Class A or B CDL, HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsement, or be able to obtain quickly
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good driving record
• Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
• Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
