Job summary

Southway-Crane- is seeking a safety‑minded CDL A driver with crane coordination experience. The role requires interpreting manuals and writing reports in English, plus the ability to prioritize tasks, organize work, and meet deadlines on complex site tasks.

The candidate should be capable of performing physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs, working at heights with proper PPE, and providing clear safety communications to customers and coworkers on location.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current state issued Class A CDL Driver's License.
• Excellent reading, writing and comprehension in English.
• Mechanical and analytical aptitude is preferred.
• Ability to prioritize, organize work efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to convey safety concerns to customers and coworkers on site.

Responsibilities

• Interpret manuals, read reports, and write concise on-site documentation.
• Provide proper hand signals to crane and truck operators.
• Communicate safety issues clearly to customers and workers on location.
• Work at heights and consistently use all PPE for fall protection.
• Complete physical tasks including lifting up to 75 lbs and various movements.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
