Job summary

TNT Crane & Rigging, Inc. seeks an experienced CDL-A driver for long-distance hauling in Alabama. A valid Class A license and a minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience are required, along with passing a background check and drug test.

An on-site skills verification test will be conducted before hire. Responsibilities include loading/unloading cargo, logging deliveries, following traffic laws, performing pre/post-trip checks, reporting incidents, and keeping equipment in good working

Qualifications

• Must have a current state issued Class A CDL Driver's License.
• Minimum of 3 years commercial driving experience.
• Must pass background check and drug test; on-site skills verification prior to hire.

• Inspect trailer before and after trip and record defects.
• Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs.
• Keep a log of activities.
• Report serious mechanical problems to relevant personnel.
• Keep truck and equipment clean and in good working order.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work at heights and use all PPE required for fall protection correctly.


• Ability to employ physiological movements and actions associated with heavy work.


• Bending, stooping, lifting, seeing hearing, walking, ability to lift 75 lbs., twisting, crawling, climbing, squatting, kneeling, sitting and standing.


• Eyesight sufficient for operating a motor vehicle, inspection of equipment, and completion paperwork.


• Hearing sufficient for telephone contact and interpersonal communication with Customers and coworkers.
