Job summary

Staker Parson Materials & Construction is seeking a safety-focused Truck Driver to support heavy civil construction throughout the Wasatch Front. The role involves operating commercial vehicles to transport aggregates, asphalt, and construction materials to job sites, plants, pits, and customer locations.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, DOT logs, securing loads, maintaining safety compliance, and coordinating with crews.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • CDL Class A or B license with endorsements.
  • Pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background checks.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate dump trucks, belly dumps, side dumps, water trucks, lowboys, tractor-trailers, or other commercial vehicles as assigned.
  • Transport aggregates, asphalt, construction materials, equipment, and supplies to job sites and plant locations.
  • Perform daily pre-trip, post-trip, and vehicle safety inspections.
  • Complete required DOT logs, inspection reports, delivery tickets, and other documentation accurately and timely.
  • Load and unload materials as required and ensure loads are properly secured.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, local, and company safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatchers, equipment operators, and project personnel.
  • Monitor vehicle performance and report maintenance or repair needs promptly.
  • Assist with site activities, traffic control, equipment fueling, or labor tasks when needed.
  • Maintain a clean and professional vehicle appearance.
  • Demonstrate CRH's commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and customer service.

Staker Parson Materials & Construction is seeking a safety-focused and dependable Truck Drivers to support heavy civil construction operations throughout the Wasatch Front!

Role is responsible for operating commercial vehicles to transport aggregates, asphalt, construction materials, and equipment to and from construction sites, plants, pits, and customer locations. This role plays a critical part in supporting paving, grading, excavation, and infrastructure projects while maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards.

Qualifications
Required
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid CDL Class A or Class B license with appropriate endorsements.
  • Acceptable driving record that meets company and insurance requirements.
  • Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and applicable background checks.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and commercial vehicle safety requirements.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime, nights, weekends, and seasonal work as business needs require.
  • Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
Preferred
  • Previous experience in heavy civil construction, asphalt paving, aggregates, ready mix, or related construction industries.
  • Experience operating dump trucks, side dumps, lowboys, water trucks, or other construction-related vehicles.
  • Basic equipment operation experience.
