Job description

High Transit LLC is seeking safety-conscious truck drivers to join our dedicated team. We are the specialty hauler for the affiliated companies of High Industries Inc. and partner with other hauling companies to provide specialty services in civil construction, transportation, building construction, manufacturing, and heavy equipment industries. Our transportation group has experience in transporting oversize/overweight structural steel for bridges, finished concrete products, steel warehousing, and pipe across the Mid-Atlantic and DC-Metro areas.

Truck Drivers are responsible for operating a tractor trailer to deliver company products to job sites and other locations, including overnight and weekend trips. Home on weekends and most weekdays (overnight travel 2-3 nights a week at times).

This position's home base is in Denver, PA.

• Drive regional OTR routes
• Hauling wide or heavy loads experience required
• Experience tying down or chaining down materials required
• Operate fully equipped late model Peterbilt flatbed tractor trailers
• Overtime paid daily after 8 hours. Shift schedule: Monday - Friday
• Opportunity for prevailing wage
• Follow state and federal regulations to load, unload, and transport girders, plates, parts, concrete products, including extended heavy loads

Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:

• Flatbed experience preferred
• Open deck experience required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid CDL A required
• 3+ years of CDL A driving experience required
• Experience hauling oversized and overweight loads
• Ability to qualify for a DOT physical card per regulations
