Job Title: CDL Truck Driver

A CDL Truck Driver will be responsible for picking up and delivering equipment of various sizes, shapes, and weights, chaining and tarping loads, completing required paperwork, maintaining logs, and performing additional non‑road tasks when requested.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and deliver equipment of various sizes/shapes/weights.
• Maintain Class B CDL and pass all medical physicals and drug screens as required by the FMSCA.
• Chain and tarp own loads.
• Carry out written and verbal instructions.
• Complete all required paperwork and maintain time records/driver logs (E‑logs).
• Perform other tasks as instructed when not on the road (e.g., wash vehicles, assist mechanics, maintain and clean shop).
• Maintain a professional appearance and interact professionally at all times with customers.
• Work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight travel or stays as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Class B CDL with an excellent driving record.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience driving tandem trucks.
• Hazmat endorsement required or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of the local area (Hampton Roads).
• Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and to climb in/out/around truck beds.
• Availability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as demanded by customer service 24/7/365 commitments.
