Job description

Truck Driver (Transportation)

Our drivers provide exceptional customer service 7 days a week. Every day we deliver to all surrounding areas in New York City, Boston, Maine, and Washington DC. At Baldor, we take pride in delivering exactly what the customer needs, when they need it.

Note: CDL NOT Required. We are hiring both CDL (Class A & B) and non-CDL truck drivers.

Driver Responsibilities:

1. Perform daily deliveries based on assigned routes.
2. Follow customer service delivery standards and meet customer needs.
3. Accurately count products during loading and delivery.
4. Communicate with supervisors and customers regarding service needs or emergencies.
5. Handle credit slips and cash collections as applicable.
6. Record all trips and complete related paperwork, including in English.
7. Maintain a recent driving record or abstract.
8. Obtain DOT Medical card before starting work.
9. Possess a valid Driver's License for at least one year.
10. Be able to lift, push, or move products weighing up to 100 pounds.

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

• At least 6 months of driving experience with box trucks or an entry-level driver certificate for new drivers.
• No more than 4 points on your driver's license in the past 36 months.
• No more than 2 suspensions on your driver's license in the past 36 months.
• No DWI/DUI convictions.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical aptitude test.
