Job summary

MSS Solutions, LLC is seeking a Truck Driver in Charlotte, NC to join our delivery team. You will be responsible for inspecting and loading the delivery vehicle, delivering items safely and efficiently, and coordinating with warehouse operations and job sites.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and trucking experience, with CDL preferred. You will also participate in background checks and drug testing as part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
• Previous trucking and warehouse experience is required.
• CDL is preferred.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting, cleaning and general appearance of the delivery vehicle.
• Loading items onto truck for delivery in a safe manner; check straps and cargo nets.
• Deliver items to the jobs as quickly and safely as possible.
• Communicate with all parties when there is a delay in delivery.
• Assist with receiving and shipping in the warehouse.
• Work with the forklift, pallet jack and carts to place equipment and bulk inventory items for jobs.
• Receiving and placing items in the correct inventory location.
• Scanning out the items and assisting with job material staging.
• Conduct tool inspections.
• Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company from time to time

• Physical Demands: Frequent sitting, frequent stooping, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and climbing. Some standing, walking, reaching, and gripping. Vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to talk and hear. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (maximum solo lift) and lifting to 25 lbs., placing this position in the physical demand classification (PDC).

Work Environment:

Exposure to weather, extreme heat or cold, high noise intensity level, atmospheric conditions, exposure to electrical shock, exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, wet and/or humid, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts, working high exposure places (job sites) and/or an office environment with conditioned air and bright lights.
