Job summary

PPG Industries seeks a Truck Driver in Atlanta, GA to perform local deliveries and customer service in a fast-paced sales environment. The role involves operating a 26 ft box truck, preparing loads, and ensuring accurate shipment paperwork.

The position requires 18+ with 2 years’ experience, valid CDL, Hazmat and related certifications, and the ability to lift up to 80 lbs occasionally. Weekend shifts and travel for some routes may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have two years’ experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Commercial Class State Driver’s License - Part A or Part B (CDLA or CDLB)
• Must possess or obtain a Hazmat certificate for transporting hazardous materials
• Required to possess or obtain 49CFR and IATA certifications
• Safely use hand and power tools and operate equipment such as forklift, barrel dolly, pallet jack and hand truck
• Must be able to wear PPE as required
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
• Basic math skills including weight calculations/conversions
• Lift up to 80 pounds infrequently and 40-60 pounds routinely
• Position requires stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting, carrying, reaching for paint products

Pay Rate: $24.97/Hour

Shift: Day shift 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday – Friday.Local and multi – state delivery with overnight travel for certain routes

As a Truck Driver, you will provide outstanding customer service and develop relationships with a variety of customers as a part of a fast-moving, dynamic sales team! Other responsibilities include making local deliveries in a safe and efficient manner utilizing a company vehicle.
