As a Truck Driver you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials across various distances. This is a contract job with a salary of $1000 per week with the option for accommodation provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks and other vehicles safely and follow all traffic laws.
• Transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
• Inspect vehicles before and after each trip and report any maintenance issues.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage and other required documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers and team members.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
• Ensure cargo is properly secured and handled to prevent damage or loss.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a truck driver.
• Clean driving record with no violations or accidents.
• Ability to pass drug/alcohol screening tests as required by law.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for handling hazardous materials is a plus.
• Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects if needed.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Preference

Preference will be given to Canadian or foreign candidates who are authorized to work in the United States.
