Job summary

Western Express is seeking a truck detailer to join our team. You will clean and detail semi-trucks, apply cleaning products correctly to interior surfaces, vacuum and sanitize cab interiors, and dispose of trash.

You will assist the Shop Manager in maintaining a safe, organized workspace, perform duties safely per company policies, and meet physical requirements. We offer competitive pay and a family-oriented culture; employment is at one of our many locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• Previous experience detailing semi-trucks, tractors, or passenger vehicles preferred.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to perform routine computer-related tasks.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English, including following written and verbal instructions.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience detailing semi-trucks, tractors, or passenger vehicles preferred.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to perform routine computer-related tasks.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting 50 pounds or more, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license required; Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment background and motor vehicle record checks, including meeting company standards regarding DUI and drug-related convictions within the past five years.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English, including following written and verbal instructions.
