JOB SUMMARY:

The job of the Truck Delivery Driver (Unit Transport Driver) is for the purpose/s of delivering /picking up trucks to different locations and customers location.

** Due to federally mandated DOT regulations, Kenworth Sales Company isadrug-free workplace. Any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a pre-employment drug screening. Salary Minimum and Maximum: $24 - $26 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver trucks to and from different branch locations
• Drives New and Used trucks as needed
• Perform Pre and Post trip inspection in accordance to DOT/Log book rules
• Complete all necessary paper work and driver Logs.
• Perform other duties as assigned and directed

Qualifications:

• Able to read and comprehend English instructions and information
• High School Diploma or the equivalent
• Professional personal appearance
• Valid Class A or B CDL Driver’s License: Driver must have and maintain a clean driving record
• Job related experience is required
• Perform basic math, understand written procedures, write routine documents, basic maintenance, and safety practices and procedures

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Will bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach and feel.
• Will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, paint and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials.
• Spend extensive periods of time driving multiple vehicles over short and long distances.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted on a regular basis.
• Will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, paint, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials.
