Penske is seeking a Body Shop Technician in Charlotte, NC on 3rd shift to repair trucks and trailers using advanced tech and training. You will lead repair efforts, ensure quality, and utilize diagnostic equipment to return equipment to service.

The role emphasizes safety, DOT/OSHA compliance, and growth opportunities within Penske’s renowned training programs and technology-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Six years of practical experience in truck and trailer repair or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational/technical school preferred.
• Specialized training and experience in repair/refinish of all series of truck and trailer.
• Proficiency with welding, painting, shop machines, and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Basic computer skills.
• Understand and comply with DOT/OSHA and Penske safety policies.
• Willingness to travel and work the required schedule.

Responsabilités

• Perform all levels of Truck Collision Repair and maintenance services for trucks and trailers.
• Identify and determine parts required for repair of disassembled units.
• Document warrantable repairs on repair orders.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Road test vehicles when necessary.
• Complete duties with little supervision and on schedule.
• Assist with other projects as assigned by supervisor.
