Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring an on-site automotive technician in Addison, IL to service Budget Truck vehicles. The role focuses on oil and fluid services, lubrication, tire and brake work, and warranty repairs based on experience.

You will assist senior technicians with more complex diagnostics, and occasionally drive a Budget Truck on public roads for testing and verification to ensure safety and uptime.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (Class A, B, or C) required.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional auto repair experience.
• At least 1 ASE certification, with potential to obtain 2 more within the first year.
• Must have complete set of tools for automotive repair.

Responsibilities

• Oil and fluid services, lubrication, tire repairs, brakes, suspension, and warranty repairs based on experience.
• Assist senior technicians with more complex diagnostics and repair procedures.
• May need to drive a Budget Truck on public roads for testing or verification.
• Contribute to safety, reliability, and fleet availability to minimize downtime.
