Job description

Truck Assembler Technician - IMT Mechanic Trucks

Interstate Assembly Systems in Surprise, Arizona, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our assembly team as an IMT Truck Manufacturing Assembler Technician. As an IMT Assembler, you will play a vital role in the production process, ensuring the efficient and accurate assembly of Mechanics Trucks. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing industry, working with cutting-edge technology and making a tangible impact on the Mechanics Service Truck field.

Pay Range: $19-$28 per hour/paid bi-weekly/based on experience

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday – Friday
  • Temperature Controlled shop

Shift: 4:30am to 1:00pm

Overtime: Yes

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble IMT systems according to established procedures and specifications
  • Inspect components for defects or damage, and report any issues to the supervisor
  • Test and verify the functionality of assembled IMT systems
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues or process inefficiencies
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to manufacturing standards

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Mechanical and electrical skills and experience preferred
  • Prior experience in automotive assembly or a similar manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and an understanding of assembly techniques
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow complex instructions accurately
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Must have own hand and air tools to perform duties
