Daimler Truck North America in Mount Holly, NC is seeking a manufacturing team member to install and assemble components for heavy-duty trucks. You will use company data systems, review drawings, BOMs, and specifications to support efficient assembly.

Responsibilities

  • Install/assemble components for heavy-duty trucks.
  • Use computer systems to access company data related to the assembly process.
  • Utilize drawings, BOMs, and specification sheets in electronic and hard copy.
  • Apply LEAN principles to the assembly process.
  • Maintain a clean workstation to promote safety and pride in the product.
  • Operate Jigs and Fixtures, Henrob equipment, Pneumatic and DC tools.

Qualifications - External
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States at time of application.
  • Must be able to read and write in English and conduct basic math.
  • The ability to work overtime including weekends.
  • Willingness and ability to work any shift.
  • Ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environment that requires the ability to lift, carry and pull and push moderate to heavy equipment, tools and parts.
  • Ability to work in teams is required.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

  • Operate the following tools and equipment: Jigs and Fixtures, Henrob equipment, Pneumatic and DC Tools for fasteners and assembly of heavy duty.
