Clarke Power Services, Inc. is seeking a Truck & Trailer Technician for 1st or 2nd shift (Mon-Fri). The role offers $25-$32/hr based on experience and encompasses repair and preventive maintenance of truck trailers, including brakes, air systems, lighting, landing gears, and doors.

Qualifications

• Truck & Trailer repair experience required.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on truck trailers.
• Experience with brakes, air system, lighting, landing gears, and doors.
• Major body work including panel replacement and bottom/top rail repairs.
• Diesel experience helpful.
• Must be able to work independently and safely.
• CDL is preferred and a valid driver's license required.
• Ability to be a dependable team player.

Responsibilities

Truck & Trailer Technician

1st shift or 2nd shift: Monday - Friday shift available!

$25-$32/hr (based on experience)

What are the Duties?

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Truck & Trailer repair experience required
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on truck trailers
• Experience with repairs including brakes, air system, lighting, landing gears, and doors
• Needs to be able to do major body work including panel replacement and bottom/top rail repairs.
• Diesel experience helpful
• Must be able to work independently and safely
• CDL is preferred
• Ability to be a dependable team player
• Major shop tools and diagnostic equipment is provided

PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit.
• The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions
• The associate must be able to read and write reports.
• Must be able to obtain DOT medcard

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the last 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years (ie., DUI/DWI).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) a plus
