Provide first response to trouble calls; investigate correct and clear trouble, and provide assistance to construction and repair crews, as required.**Job Description****Job Posting End Date****04-24-2026****Please note the job posting will close on the day before the posting end date.****\\*\\*\\*Successful candidates will need to reside 25 miles from the Shreveport Operations Center\\*\\*\\*****What You'll Do:*** Coordinate and/or conduct complex circuit and substation switching and restoration of service resulting from trouble calls.* Investigate trouble calls; patrol and inspect lines; locate, clear and repair faults on lines and equipment. Refuse line and transformer cutouts; repair and adjust street light control equipment; install and remove transformers, meters and services.* Analyze and take corrective action with respect to trouble calls on all types of transmission and distribution circuits and equipment. Use instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, and maximeters and record readings.* Independently interface with emergency forces, such as fire and police departments, to accomplish safe trouble call restoration.* Work with hot line equipment on energized circuits for emergency repairs or routine maintenance of facilities.* Communicate effectively with customers and formulate a plan designed to serve their needs as well as the Company's in resolving trouble calls.
