Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort is hiring a Steward to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly in a vibrant beachfront setting on Kauai. Join Davidson Hospitality Group's team and contribute to high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and efficient operations in a busy hotel kitchen environment.

You will support the culinary team, maintain dishwashing areas, and assist with food prep while upholding meticulous attention to detail and a positive, energetic attitude in a fast-paced workplace.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Steward or in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support the culinary team by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dishwashing area.
• Assist with food preparation and plating as needed.
• Ensure the proper handling and storage of food and supplies.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Display a positive and energetic attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate a commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
