TripsSource Ticketing Officer Remote Full Time Opportunity

#TripsSource is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Ticketing Officer to support its tour operations team. The role involves managing the full ticketing cycle for transportation, attractions, activities, and tourism services to ensure seamless travel experiences for customers, guides, and operational teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced tourism environment and demonstrates strong accuracy, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchase and secure tickets for rail transport, excursions, attractions, museums, boat services, passes, events, and third-party tourism services
  • Ensure all tickets meet booking requirements, deadlines, supplier conditions, and availability
  • Verify passenger details, schedules, dates, and product inclusions before issuing tickets
  • Coordinate with suppliers, transport operators, attractions, and partners to secure confirmations and resolve issues
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and operational partners
  • Monitor ticket inventory, restrictions, seasonal allocations, and booking conditions
  • Manage urgent requests, modifications, cancellations, and last-minute ticket arrangements
  • Update internal systems with ticket references, confirmations, and operational notes
  • Organize ticket distribution to guides, customers, and operational teams
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and alignment with bookings
  • Monitor ticket costs and support cost-control measures
  • Reconcile ticket purchases with bookings and assist finance with invoice verification
  • Identify and resolve ticket-related issues proactively
  • Collaborate with reservations, operations, customer service, and management teams
  • Support improvements in ticketing workflows and supplier processes
Requirements
  • Previous experience in tourism operations, ticketing, reservations, or travel administration
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong communication and supplier coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with reservation or ticketing systems is an advantage
  • Knowledge of tourism operations or destination management is beneficial
