Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Counseling, Social Work, Human Services, Student Affairs, Educational Administration, Higher Education, or a closely related field
• Minimum of two years of professional experience working directly with high school or college students in academic advising, counseling, college access, student support, case management, youth development, or a related area
• Experience supporting first-generation, income-eligible, historically underserved students

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned caseload of approximately 120 TRIO Upward Bound participants, providing individualized academic, college-readiness, career, and personal support
• Recruit, identify, and support eligible participants in accordance with TRIO Upward Bound eligibility requirements
• Develop, implement, monitor, and update Individual Success Plans based on each participant’s performance, goals, needs, and barriers
• Monitor participants’ grades, attendance, course completion, GPA, academic standing, and progress toward high school graduation
