Job summary

Stash Ventures in Sturgis, MI is seeking cannabis trimmers to manicure dry marijuana flower to company standards. You will weigh, label and package as needed, while complying with state laws and regulations.

The role emphasizes efficiency, accuracy, and maintaining a clean workspace in a highly regulated environment. Applicants should be at least 21, able to obtain state badging, and comfortable with repetitive tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain proper badging as required by state law.
• Demonstrated ability to meet productivity and performance requirements.
• Demonstrates high attention to detail.
• Previous Cannabis related experience not necessary, but is a plus.
• Must be able to perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work in a highly regulated environment.
• Knowledge of cannabis industry equipment and OSHA standards is a plus.

Job description

The primary job of the cannabis trimmer is to manicure dry marijuana flower to company standards. They also might be responsible for weighing, labeling and packaging the flower. Cannabis trimmers must adhere to local and state laws and regulations related to marijuana production and keep up to date on changes to those laws and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

• Demonstrates high attention to detail.
• Previous Cannabis related experience not necessary, but is a plus.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Remaining in a standing position for extended periods.
• Able to lift up to 25lbs regularly.
• Ability to focus on repetitive tasks.
• Hand and finger dexterity required for extended periods.
• Consistent hand-eye coordination.
• Wearing gloves and other required PPE for extended periods when required.
• Working environment can have strong cannabis smells.
• Exposure to pollen, allergens, and chemical pesticides in the grow facility or greenhouse.
• Work environments that include exposure to, but not limited to, chemicals, fumes, dust, odors, extreme heat temperatures, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, noise, protective gear, vibrations, and water'.
