We are seeking a highly skilled Trimble Viewpoint Vista Expert with extensive experience in migrating from Microsoft Dynamics SL to Viewpoint Vista. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SQL databases, Microsoft Dynamics SL, and Microsoft programming languages.

This role will be instrumental in leading our data migration efforts, ensuring data integrity, optimizing system performance, and collaborating with department heads to streamline business processes.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining detailed process documentation to support system configurations, data mappings, workflow setups, and integration points. This includes establishing standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintaining version control, and ensuring that all documentation is accessible, up-to-date, and aligned with operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the migration of financial and operational data from Microsoft Dynamics SL to Trimble Viewpoint Vista, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business goals.
• Develop and implement ETL best practices for data extraction, transformation, and loading to support seamless system integration and data fidelity.
• Design and execute SQL queries, stored procedures, and apply database optimization techniques to enhance performance and maintain data integrity.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and IT teams to identify business requirements, optimize workflows, and streamline processes within Viewpoint Vista.
• Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including system configurations, data mappings, and integration points.
• Establish and standardize standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure effective version control and accessibility of technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to database integration, performance tuning, and application configurations.
• Utilize Microsoft development tools and languages such as Visual Basic (VB), .NET, and C# to customize and enhance system functionality.
• Provide training and guidance to end users and IT staff on new system features, documentation usage, and best practices.
• Ensure data security, compliance, and backup strategies are implemented and maintained throughout the migration lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Trimble Viewpoint Vista and Microsoft Dynamics SL, including successful implementation and migration projects.
• Strong understanding of Dynamics SL database structures and experience with ERP data migration, integration, and business process improvement.
• Expertise in SQL Server, including T-SQL, SSIS, and SSRS, for data migration, transformation, and reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft programming languages such as VB, VB.NET, .NET, and C# to support system customization and development.
• Solid database management skills, including performance tuning and optimization.
• Exceptional documentation skills for technical specifications, process documentation, and system configurations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and the capacity to perform in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the construction or engineering industry with ERP system migrations.
• Familiarity with cloud-based ERP solutions.
• Certifications in SQL Server, Microsoft Dynamics, or Trimble Viewpoint Vista, Microsoft Certifications.
