The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accurate layout services using Trimble Robotic Total Stations (RTS), ensuring alignment between design intent and field execution.**Essential Functions and Responsibilities*** Prepare and manage layout files for use in Trimble RTS field equipment.* Coordinate with the project team to verify accuracy of models and layout files.* Perform layout services for concrete and finishes scopes, including walls, embeds, blockouts, partitions, ceilings, and fixtures.* Conduct on-site visits to verify conditions, control points, and field requirements.* Communicate frequently with project team members, including engineers, architects, and superintendents.* Update and maintain point files to reflect as-built conditions or design changes.* Collaborate with general contractors and project stakeholders to align layout needs with project schedules.* Serve as a liaison between field and office teams regarding layout, model updates, and field coordination.* Support quality control by ensuring all layout is performed with a high degree of accuracy.* Perform other layout- and coordination-related duties as assigned.* Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and participate in job hazard analyses (JHAs) and Morning Action Plans (MAPs)* Maintain equipment logs, project notes, and documentation* Other duties as assigned**Skills and Abilities*** 1–3 years of field experience with Trimble RTS equipment in a construction environment.* Ability to read and interpret construction documents including architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.* Proficient with Trimble software, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.* Familiarity with layout procedures for both structural and interior finish scopes.* Strong understanding of basic algebra, geometry, and spatial relationships.* Able to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds* Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and on active construction sites* Technology driven, Self-motivated and a problem solver.* Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with project teams and supervisors* Experience in commercial or civil construction preferred**Education and Experience*** 1–3 years of field experience with Trimble RTS equipment in a construction environment.* Ability to read and interpret construction documents including architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.* Proficient with Trimble software, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.* Familiarity with layout procedures for both structural and interior finish scopes.* Strong understanding of basic algebra, geometry, and spatial relationships.* Preferred 3-5 years of commercial concrete construction experience* High school diploma or equivalent* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving recordCK Construction is an equal employment opportunity/affirmative action federal and state contractor.
