Job summary

MMR Group, Inc. in Abilene, TX is seeking an experienced Trimble Operator to support field layout, GPS data collection, and constructability verification for electrical construction projects.

You will operate Trimble GPS equipment on grading, sitework, and utilities, collect accurate field data, and communicate findings to designers and engineers to ensure builds align with plans. The role requires travel to active sites and safe operation of equipment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating Trimble GPS equipment.
• Experience with GPS construction layout, point collection, and field verification.
• Background in Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical or underground utilities.
• Ability to work outdoors on active construction sites and travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate Trimble GPS equipment to locate and capture construction points.
• Perform field layout for electrical installations.
• Collect coordinates, elevations, and field data.
• Upload and manage project information using Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and designers.
• Travel to active construction sites as required.
