Job summary

Parallel, via its NETA brand, is hiring a Trim Technician I in Franklin, MA to transform harvested cannabis into premium products within a fast-paced harvest operation. You will trim, assist with processing, and help maintain quality and compliance while supporting a team of 8-16 technicians.

Requirements include being 21+, a High School Diploma or GED, ability to follow detailed instructions, strong attention to detail, and good teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently when required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Wet trim approximately 15-25 harvested cannabis plants daily.
• Assist with dry trimming, de-sticking, bucking, and post-harvest processing.
• Follow all policies and Massachusetts cannabis regulations.
• Meet daily and weekly production goals established by department leadership.
• Inspect plant material to ensure quality and consistency standards are maintained.
• Work collaboratively with a team of 8-16 Trim Technicians.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
• Properly clean and sanitize tools and equipment.
• Accurately complete assigned tasks with attention to detail and efficiency.
• Support additional Harvest Department needs as assigned.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team setting.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently when required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Six (6) months or more of cannabis, agricultural, greenhouse, horticulture, nursery, or cultivation experience
• Previous experience working in a production or manufacturing environment
• Passion for plant science and commercial cultivation

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly without assistance
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach throughout the workday
• Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions, including heat, humidity, and cooler temperatures
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
• Ability to climb ladders and work safely around cultivation equipment
• Comfortable working in an environment with exposure to plant materials, pollen, dust, odors, fertilizers, and varying indoor climate conditions
