Up Closets, a leading provider of custom closet solutions, seeks a skilled trim carpenter for a part-time position. Deliver precise finish work on residential and commercial installations across NYC, requiring 3+ years of trim/finish carpentry and strong attention to detail.

Independently driven with good communication on client sites, you’ll lift and install trim, casing, and molding while maintaining a safe, organized work area and collaborating with the lead installer on project timelines.

Qualifications

• Hands-on trim/finish carpentry experience required.
• Excellent miter/coping/scribing skills and tool familiarity.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and client-facing professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Install trim, casing, molding and finish details on closet systems.
• Ensure tight, clean fits with wall/ceiling/floor scribing.
• Provide courteous service during installation and maintain safety.
• Collaborate with lead installer for timely, high-quality completion.

Seeking someone detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced in trim and finish carpentry who can hit the ground running on residential and commercial job sites across NYC.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on trim or finish carpentry experience (required) Strong miter cutting, coping, and scribing skills Familiarity with tools used in trim and finish work (miter saw, nail gun, router, hand tools) Valid driver's license Ability to work independently and as part of a small team Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship Excellent communication and professionalism on client job sites Ability to lift and carry materials and perform physical tasks as needed
