Job summary

Skillforce is hiring experienced Commercial Trim Carpenters to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong finish-carpentry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship on commercial construction projects. Pay:$25 - $30, depending on experience.

Shift: 1 st shift, 40 hours a week. Install commercial finish carpentry, including doors, frames, baseboards, casing, trim, molding, and other architectural millwork.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial finish or trim carpentry experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Proficiency with common carpentry hand and power tools.
• Physical ability to lift materials, stand for long periods, climb ladders and perform physical construction work.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial finish carpentry, including doors, frames, baseboards, casing, trim, molding, and other architectural millwork
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, specifications, and construction plans
• Measure, cut, fit, and install wood and composite materials accurately
• Install doors, hardware, cabinets, paneling, and other finish components as required
• Perform layout and ensure finished work meets project specifications and quality standards
• Use hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment safely and effectively
• Coordinate with other trades and communicate with supervisors and project management regarding job-site needs
• Identify and correct installation issues or deficiencies

Commercial Trim Carpenter Qualifications

• Ability to take accurate measurements and perform basic calculations

• Experience with Commercial office and retail construction preferred
